The London Photographic Meetup Group is one of the biggest, if not the biggest, London based photography club with over 2000 members from all over London and beyond. We hold multiple meetings every month; events planned to teach photographic skills with regular workshops, events that take you in and around London to practice your hobby with other members and purely social evenings where we can relax with friends over a beer or two. We are a not-for-profit organisation; all the organsiers do this because we love it. None of us are professional photographers and we all have full time day-jobs so this is our hobby too.
Competitions We run regular competitions, including the LPMG Photographer of the Year award, which last year offers a £800 prize to the winner. With a total prize pot of £1500. This years competition is being organised as I type with a proposed start date of March 2010.
Events The LPMG.ORG.UK meetup site has all the details of the official events we run. If you would like to join in with these events then pop over and join up. You'll immediately have access to a calendar with listings of all the latest official group events and will be notified of new events by e-mail as they are posted.
Along with the official events, we have a number of members who organise unofficial events. If you fancy having a look at what other people are up to or if your off somewhere and fancy some company, then take a look at the Member Meetups board.

Forum (members can keep up to date with the LPMG on-line community action, which includes polls, tips and tricks and news of official, and unofficial meetup events run by the members themselves.
Gallery (upload, manage, rate and comment images for the LPMG competitions)
Shoutbox (post messages in the style of a guestbook and display them globally in the header)
